Reverse Canvas for Dusty Attic

Hello dear Dusty FANattics!
I am so excited to share another project as a Dusty Attic Design Team Member.

I have created this reversed canvas, as a frame, featuring the amazing Entangled Heart chipboard and some more of the gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboards (see below).
I have covered the chippies with 3 new Lindy's Starburst Squirts, added beautiful 49&market' flowers, Pebbles, Art Stones and Micro beads.
On the frame I used a tecnique I love which adds  every project gorgeous texture: the Frame laterals were covered with pieces of different fabric lace, I applied to the center crackle paste and let it dry and crack over night.
I colored the frame with the same colors I used on the chippies, this time diluating with water to get a pastel colors and let the chippiesn stand out.
After drying I added 2 layers of dry brush white gesso.

The chippies I used are:

Mixed media set of ATCs for Scrapiniec

Hello dears!
Here with you today to share a set of ATCs (Artist trading cards) I have created with different Scrapiniec collection like the gorgeous Mehendi and Boho Love.

Lately I'm in love with those small cards, it is such a challenge to make a beautiful multi layered composition on top of 2,5 x 3,5 inches card and it is so much fun to trade them with crafty friend from all over the world.
To make them I've chosen a beautiful paper from Bob and Betty, cut six cards and covered each with clear gesso. I then added texture first with texture paste and stencil and when dry I adhered mesh fabric and cotton lace. On top I assembled the different chipboard previously colored with different Lindy's shimmer sprays. I added embellishments, word stickers and gold glass glitter.
Last step was to cut 6 pieces of cardboard, each slightly larger than the card, color the laterals with Finnabair icing pastes, adhere the cards to the cardboard and add a bit of white gesso to each card. Hope you like my set!

Video tutorial - How to Creat amazing Gems using Lindy's Embossing Powders

Hello dear  friends!
Here with you today to share my first video tutorial for Lindy's - Yay!
the video is a Lindy's technique: How to Creat amazing Gems using Lindy's Embossing Powders

In this tutorial I'm showing how to make the amazing gems I used in the project below, made for Lindy's January Challenge.

Lindy's embossing powders are two-toned powders and that's what gives the gems the unique Chameleon Bright and Shimmering look.
Some of Lindy's EP are transparent so if you use one on top of the other, like I did, you get more tones!
And you still can see underneath. You can see in the next photo the gems not only have the tones atributed by the embossing powder but also reflect the grungy colors of the spray on the project.

This give us the possibility to make a bunch in advance and use the same Gems in different project styles.

What you need is:  a good embossing pad or dabber, some pebbles and at least two of Lindy's Embossing Powders.

As promissed in the video here's a list of the best EPs for this technique:
Hope you’ve enjoyed my video tutorial.

Alaways & Quote canvas for MTW

Hello dears!
We have a new challenge at More Than Words - Always & Quote.

Word Inspiration - ALWAYS
Creative Challenge - QUOTE

What does the word ALWAYS inspire you to create? You can choose to use the actual word somewhere on your project or simply be inspired by it. Please explain in your blog post how it inspired you if it isn't obvious in your work.

Quotes are great to use on our projects. They can inspire us or reinforce a sentiment we want to express. Keeping our monthly word, ALWAYS, in mind, we want you to use a favorite QUOTE on your creation!

My take is a flat canvas with an inspiring quote on a card from Rossibelle Prima Collection.
The QUOTE I've chosen is very important to me and in order to ALWAYS remember it I decide to make a canvas which I can hang in my home! "It ALWAYS seems impossible until it's done!"

Looking forward to see you all play with us!

Thanks for Stopping by!
