Altered Violin Video Tutorial for Finnabair

Hello Friends!

How are you all, this days? for this stressing days I decided to alter a Violin.

You will see in the video the process is  uncomplicated and the result is a fabulous piece!

For creating the background of the smaller part I used 2 different Tissue papers, White Crackle paste and Gothic Stencil.

I embellished the piece with lots of gorgeous Mechanicals and colored them with amazing Art Alchemy Metalic paints which I adore.

Creating wall decor with special rusty effect on Embellishments

Hey gang!

Sharing today  my new project with a Step by Step  video tutorial - Creating a mixed media Hamssa.

In this video I will show you an amazing Rusty effect on Embellishments, made with new Lindy's magicals.

So let’s start…

Basic Process

• prime the MDF Hamssa with White Heavy Gesso
• Next, spread a layer of White Crackle Paste
• Add some stamping using embossing pad and Lindy's Guten Tag Teal Embossing Powder, and Lindy's new U So Fine -  Slam Dunk Silver Embossing Powder
• Add texture with paste and stencil
• And to the fun part: adding Lindy's Sprays and Squirts: First Emerald Eh?! Squirt, than Buccaneer Bronze Moon Shadow Spray
• Color the chipboards with new  Metal Maniacs Chunky EPs: Chrome Dosen't Pay and Tin Roof Rusted!
• Now to an amazing Rust effect with new Lindy's magicals: Mix a bit of white gesso with Delphinium Turquoise,
  paint the resin pieces with the mixutre. On the wet paint sprinkel Edelweiss Moss Green here and there.  With the help of a fine paintbrush drip water on the magical powder
• Color other elements with Cowabunga Copper Spray and Carfree Verdgris new EP
•  Assemble everything on the MDF base
• Make shadowing with Hockey Puck Black Squirt

Moonlight Art Daily Project

Hello Crafty friends!

I'm so excited to share my first project for Art Daily Cafe.

I love Art Journaling and this way I'll be back to doing it as often as used to!

Our March theme is: Moonlight

March Art Daily Color is Night Blue

The technique: dots, spills and splatters of any kind

For me, many times, creating become a fantastic process of research: reading articles, poems, looking for pictures etc

Not necessarily I do that every time, but I always have a meaning "behind" my projects.

This month Theme's text have intrigued me, especially this part from the mood-board guidelines: “feminine powers, Moon phases and all the meanings behind them,."

It made me understand there is probably so much I don't know about this issue, and I was right! I discovered I only knew the basic.

Moon phases are so impactful. The Moon represents powerful feminine energy.

It signifies wisdom, intuition, birth, death, reincarnation, and a spiritual connection.

Feminine energy is the receptive energy that opens. By receiving love/energy/attention your deep well of feminine energy is filled up.

That's what inspired me more than anything, so I tried to express it in my spread using the Night Blue with a light salmon pink, together with a small woman image and a great quote: "Let the Moon teach you the Art of being a Beautiful and mysterious woman"

I created watercolor Moon, and lot's of circles with different shades of blue. I used not only the circles but their negative as well.

Usually Night Blue isn't my favorite but in my research I discovered this is my cosmic color so I decided to work only with this two colors and get a very feminine spread.
