Clockwork ATC set for Dusty Attic

 Hello Crafty friends!

It's Anat here, back today to share my April Moodboard inspired project.

This project was very challenging to take pictures  of, probably due to the colors and the different shades: Orange,Brown, Rusty and Greys. That was of the time I wish I could show you guys in real.

My idea with the ATC set was to feature old and Rusty clockwork and I love the outcome!

I treated the chipboards with different Lindy's Sprays like my love: Cowabunga Copper, when dry I rubbed with metalique waxes.

The amazing chippies used are:

DA1929 - Fans#3

DA1541 - Industrial-stars

DA1395 - Cog-border#1

Let it be AJ spread for Art Daily Cafe

 Hello crafty friends!

Here is my Art Journal spread made for Art Daily Caf'e

Working on this spread was very touching: 15 years ago, on April 21 the most amazing and heartfelt experience was happening in my life - the birth of my daughter. This spread is dedicated to her!
I didn’t choose the color nor the images of the moodboard, yet it seems it was made for her. Inspired by her personality having  her favorite color and shades.

7Dots Studio word stickers I have used were also picked especially for her.
I loved playing with transparencies of different types, stamping on top and beneath and getting the misty look of background.

Looking forward to seeing what you all create.

Thanks for stopping by!

Soft shiny shakers - Art Recipe

 Hello crafty friends!

The first thing that came into my mind, when looking at the beautiful Art Recipe April's Moodboard, was a Shaker, the one filled with sweet shiny sequins.

So I decided to give it a try for the first time ever, using, as my usual, recycled objects.

For the base of the shaker I grabbed Granulated Coffee jar lids, painted them with Metalique Paints and spread Effect pastes in the inside. When it was dry, I added the sequins and closed with a piece of transparency sheet.

I was going to give each one a totally different look but after painting the big Cog with Soft impasto paint I liked it so much and decided to use the Cog in all compositions.

Find below all products I have used here.
