Altered Sea Glass Bowl for Lindy's

Hey Gang!
Anat here and I hope you are having a great time.
For today’s post, I’ve created an altered Sea Glass Bowl with a Step by step Video Tutorial.
As the Summer is approaching I felt like creating something Nautical or Sea related, then I came across this Glass Bowl and knew that's what I'll do.

Basic Process

  1. Start by covering part of the Glass Bowl with Heavy White Gesso
  2. The upper part we cover with Clear Gesso
  3. Spread on part of the Glass Bowl White Crackle Paste
  4. Quickly heat the paste and start adhering Seashells, pearls, gears, buttons and similar
  5. to add some texture and Sea feeling, Emboss randomly using Purely White EP
  6. Add small elements like Pearls Tiny Sea Stars and Seashells
  7. Add Art Stones with Gel Medium
  8. After 3-4 hours of drying Spray Sidewalk Chalk Flat Fabio
  9. Dry Brush Using White Heavy Gesso
  10. Let the Fun begin: Spray with gorgeous Whale Watch Blue
  11. Add Frosty Forest Green Spray
  12. Add Opal Sea Oats Spray
  13. After drying add Beaver tail Brown Squirts
  14. Add Bling-y-Blonde Spray
  15. Dry Brush Using White Heavy Gesso
  16. Continue until you’re satisfied
  17. I thought the Bowl needed a "foot”, so I made it with a small can to which I added texture and Sprays
  18. After the project was ready, I decided to replace the Skull with a Rhinestone Button
You can watch the video tutorial here:

Here's a photo I took with a candle inside the bowl:

Vintage Girl canvas for MMP

Hello mixed media friends!
It's Anat here! Today I would like to show you my new Canvas with a Step by step Video Tutorial.

I'm a huge  fan of  Vintage style and especially of Vintage  photos. They express so much exactly because they are not colored, have no filters or similar.

For my canvas I've chosen a fabulous picture and with it I decided to go with a modest color pallet.
