Arrival

Hello dears,
Here again with a sweet project I made to enter Prima Challenge - hello August.

August_MIP

I made this Baby's room decor with the gorgeous Heaven Sent collection, looking forward to getting my hands on the Heaven Sent 2.
I adhered, one of my favorites paper from this collection, to a MDF block, added Finnabair's white heavy Gesso with a very delicate Prima's stencil.
For the central composition, I used print from IOD mold, Prima flowers from the same collection and other collections, Prima's doylies and leaves die-cuts.
Painted the frame with Butterfly Spells Art Alchemy Sparks Acrylic Paint and spread over some Gold tons of the Finnabair's Art Extravagance Glitter set.

Hope you like it:

Dream - #mybaby

Hello dears,
Here today with a new page layout I created to join, for the first time,
 the Creative embellishments August challenge.

The challenge is to be inspired by one element from the photo, the twist is  to use hashtags on your project.
I've choosen a Heart and added #mybaby and #fun.
The chipboard word Dream is from a gorgeous set you can find here Creative embellishments dream word set, all words in this set are so nice and useful.

Choosing a heart make me think about my beautiful daugether and as she loves Blue
I had to create it in her colours.

In the background I added a new Dream catcher stamp by Kassa Hayselden I've just got it and I'm in love so I believe you'll see it a lot LOL.
You can purchase it in here Dream catcher stamp Kassa/Karen-hayselden.

Here is my LO, hope you like it:

Lanterna dos afogados

Hello my dears,
You may wander what this title means... Only Brasilians will understand! It's a song title and it means I'm in the drownings lantern, not just a song but one of my favorites!
Over at More than words August challenge the challenge's theme is:
Word Inspiration - HARMONY
Creative Challenge - SONG LYRICS
In my project I had to incorporate song lyrics and I knew which song I will choose... I added all lyrics under the picture with the photo matting and the chorus below the picture so everyone can read it.
I've chosen the light Bulb with the Love word because I believe Love and Harmony go together.

Here is part of the song with the transalation:

Eu tô na lanterna dos afogados - I'm in the drownings lantern
Eu tô te esperando - I'm waiting for you
Vê se não vai demorar - Try not to be late

Here's the LO, hope you like it:

My Hero

Hello dears,
This is going to be a very sentimental post... LOL
The challenge theme over at 7dots Studio July Challenge is My Favorite person/My Hero, I've chosen my Father as my Hero! For many and many reasons!!

My Father is a very handsome man and I have so many good pictures of him so I had a hard time choosing the right photo for the LO I wanted to create.
I decided to go with a picture of my Father at the age of 4 years, which has a vintage look and means a lot to me and to him of course.
The next step was to gather the paper, stamps, embellishments and all suitable elements to create this Layout.

I've decided to go with paper, elements and stickers from The writer's block collection which I adore. So I took the 7dots Studio writer's block-sincerely paper and applied clear gesso on it, stamped around the area where the composition will be, spread Finnabair's graphite texture paste with a stencil and after it was dry sprayed 2 beautiful colors.
I glued the cluster I made and added some embellishment to give it more texture and depth.

Hope you like it:

Create

Hello everyone!

I’m sharing today my new mixed media project - my entry in the

I've created a Romantic canvas using 3 from the color of the pallet, as I wanted the canvas to be quite bright I used the sprays with a lot of water.

I started by adhering thick paper squares on a flat canvas, when dry I painted it with gold acrylic paint and right after it was dry brushed it with white crackle paint. Next step was to spray some water and: Chateau rose - flat Fabio sprayStarburst shimmer sprays - Cape cod coral.
I made some shading with Starburst shimmer sprays - Bayou boogie gold and started assembling the central composition with mold prints, paper die-cuts, cheese cloth, thread and more.
The "Create" was hot embossed with the gorgeous Embossing powder - Midnight ruby and a little bit Chateau-rose embossing powder on top to soften the color.

Hope you'll like it as much  as I do:
