Endless Love

Hello creative souls!

Anat here sharing a new project, titled as "Endless Love" , featuring a photo of my Babay girl almost 14 years ago. Oh how I miss her fabulous Baby smell! I can feel it through the picture, don't you?!

I've chosen this MDF Infant onesie shaped instead of a simple canvas and loved what I came out with.

To make the background I've spread on all surface, Finnabair's Paper Paste using Dusty Attic's gorgeous  Lace Stencil.

When dry I covered it with Finnabair's Heavy Gesso White, stamped it here and there and added pastel colors: Finnabair's Impasto paints -  Jade, Boudoirs Pink and Heather.

The Chipboards were painted with the same Impasto paints adding Embossing powders for more texture and interest.

Baby for Dusty Attic

Hello  Friends!

Here today with my a project for Dusty Attic - an Altered Hamsa (or Hand of Fatima). 

"The hamsa is a palm-shaped amulet popular throughout the Middle East and North Africa and commonly used in jewelry and wall hangings. Depicting the open right hand,  used as a sign of protection providing defense against the evil eye."

The gorgeous Baby Pendants inspired me to alter this Hamsa for a Baby room.

In this project I used chipboards, both, for the background - to support the composition, and as my focal point.

I believe you already noticed that I can't do without one of the beautiful ATC frames it wasn't different here! I used it in the focal point to highlight  the gorgeous pendant.

Word Inspiration - BABY

Creative Challenge - PASTELS

What does the word BABY inspire you to create? You can choose to use the actual word somewhere on your project or simply be inspired by it. Please explain in your blog post how it inspired you if it isn't obvious in your work.

The word 'baby' brings soft and sweet images to mind. What better way to complement this than with PASTELS? Pastels are delicate, gentle colours. Think pale pink, lulling lilac, magic mint or baby blue and create a subtle and soothing project.

I can't believe 12 years have passed since I took this photo of my BABY girl. She's so photogenic I still take many pictures of her, but when she was a BABY I used to click her every day dozens of photos. With different hats and cloth, all colors fits her: PASTELS, bright, dark etc. I know I'm a proud Mother but she's my Tresaure!

Welcome Baby Magnets for Fantasy

Hello crafty friends!

Here today to share my new project for Fantasy - Welcome Baby Magnets.

This magnets are an idea for a little souvenir to give family and friends that visit the new born Baby. I cut 2 halvs moon from cardborad, adhere Prima Heaven Sent 2 papers and added die-cuts, Fantasy chipboards and images from the same collection.
