Back to Childhood Art Journal page for Art Daily Cafe
Hello crafty friends!
Long, lazy summer days, fresh cut
grass smell, school, swimming pool with friends and dining room evenings are
just a few of the memories I have from my childhood.
I don't have enough experience in the
collage technique but I adore working on new stuff so I embraced the challenge
and created this page. I'm sure I will do more of it in the future.
Thanks for stopping by! xoxo

Breaking the Rules for Art Daily Cafe
Hello
Crafty Friends!
It's
Anat here with my take on my own theme for March and Moodboard by our
dear Tusia - Breaking the Rules!
I have
chosen this theme because I felt I was very attached to certain rules I have
created to myself, based on many different issues and which I had to allow
myself to let go.
In the
history of Art, many Artists did choose at one point to deliberately break the
rules of their time, rules about composition, perspective, narration, etc .
While breaking those rules they did create some breakthrough works of Art. As
said before by Pablo Picasso: "Learn the Rules as a Pro, so you can break
them like an Artist!"
Breaking
the rules doesn’t have to be so dramatic, it can be just a decision to ignore
a rule of composition or just take risks with your style.
I
challenge you to join me and break some of the confining rules that you have
accepted as truth... Rules you've imposed upon your Art.
Thanks
for stopping by!

Our Nest, Our Home ATC houses for Dusty Attic
Hello crafty friends!
It's Anat here, back with my moodboard inspired project - a trio of ATC houses.
I wanted to create this houses for sometime now, I've seen this idea with 2 great designers and friends and I loved it.
As you can see this set is made entirely with chipboards, when I made the composition I felt there wasn't any need to add another type of elemnt and I'm so inlove with what I come up with! After bulding the houses I painted them with Impasto paints, leaving the Natural background here and there, I than stampped them and went to color the chipboards using the same mixes of impasto paint adding a bit of rubbed metalique wax and dry brush gesso.
Hope you like my houses as much as I do!
the chipboards I've used are:
