Art isn't Luxury - AJ Spread for Art daily Cafe

 Hello friends!

Today is my turn at Art Daily Cafe blog to share my take on July  theme and amazing Mood Board by our dear Tusia.

Luxury is a word a few different meanings, the synonymous features that: luxe, luxurious, deluxe...

The first thing that came to my mind when thinking about the theme was elegance, rich, deluxe images so I decided to make a unique spread  working with pearly black and Copper together with a vintage image and a quote: "Art is not Luxury is a necesity"

When working on your project you can interpret it the way it appeals to you.

Don't apologize for who you are - video tutorial for Finnabair

 Hello crafty friends!

It's Anat Here! I'm back today to share my new project and video Tutorial – Unique Panel with a Message: Don't apologize for who you are!

This time I've chosen a crazy base to work on. It was the lid of a wooden box that have broken and which I decided to bring back together in a different form.

For the important message on the sticker I wanted to create a dramatic scene, guided by this idea I have chosen the colors and elements.

I hope you like my project and will enjoy watching the step by step  video!

Watch the step by step video tutorial here:

Have a wonderful day and enjoy your crafting time!

A Box to think outside of - for Dusty Attic

 Hello crafty friends!

Anat here today, sharing my new project - a Book box in Industrial-steampunk style.

I've started working on this box a few months ago, I put it some where and forgot all about it, tiding my crafting space I found it and decided the right time for completing my work on it has come!

I love using Dusty Attic's chippies on my boxes! especially those in Industrial and Steampunk  Style but not only, Shabby as well.

The box lid had chipboard's negative added to it and paste through stencil to all sides.  All box and elements were  painted with Metalique paints, Rust pastes and more. To my chipboard composition I've added some of Finnabair's metal elements.

Hope you like it as much as I do.

Here are the fabulous chippies I've used:

Divine divas

Industrial corners

Jumbo cogs-10pk

Cog-border #1

Industrial gears

Mini cogs #2

Fans #3
