My Hero

Hello dears,
This is going to be a very sentimental post... LOL
The challenge theme over at 7dots Studio July Challenge is My Favorite person/My Hero, I've chosen my Father as my Hero! For many and many reasons!!

My Father is a very handsome man and I have so many good pictures of him so I had a hard time choosing the right photo for the LO I wanted to create.
I decided to go with a picture of my Father at the age of 4 years, which has a vintage look and means a lot to me and to him of course.
The next step was to gather the paper, stamps, embellishments and all suitable elements to create this Layout.

I've decided to go with paper, elements and stickers from The writer's block collection which I adore. So I took the 7dots Studio writer's block-sincerely paper and applied clear gesso on it, stamped around the area where the composition will be, spread Finnabair's graphite texture paste with a stencil and after it was dry sprayed 2 beautiful colors.
I glued the cluster I made and added some embellishment to give it more texture and depth.

Hope you like it:

Create

Hello everyone!

I’m sharing today my new mixed media project - my entry in the

I've created a Romantic canvas using 3 from the color of the pallet, as I wanted the canvas to be quite bright I used the sprays with a lot of water.

I started by adhering thick paper squares on a flat canvas, when dry I painted it with gold acrylic paint and right after it was dry brushed it with white crackle paint. Next step was to spray some water and: Chateau rose - flat Fabio sprayStarburst shimmer sprays - Cape cod coral.
I made some shading with Starburst shimmer sprays - Bayou boogie gold and started assembling the central composition with mold prints, paper die-cuts, cheese cloth, thread and more.
The "Create" was hot embossed with the gorgeous Embossing powder - Midnight ruby and a little bit Chateau-rose embossing powder on top to soften the color.

Hope you'll like it as much  as I do:

Inspire

Hello,
First time I join the 13arts Challenge and I'm very excited.

The challenge theme is Background which I absolutely love to create.
Lucky me I've won a wonderful prize from 13arts that arrived very quickly so I could create my own background using some of the goodies I've got.

I decided to alter a Book box, starting with White Gesso - acrylic primer then some washi tape to create texture and dimension. My next step was to apply Molding paste with the gorgeous Stencil-Technical. After drying I applied the beautiful Mist Chalk Yellow Amber and the Rainbow Color Sky Blue.
After drying I glued a piece of lace and assembled the main composition with all the metal embellishments then added Glass spheres D5 which I love, Microspheres black and Gold Microspheres XS.

Hope you like it:

Live creatively

Hi again,

I hope you are ready for more...LOL

Now a layout - my entry in the 7dotsstudio June Challenge.

This month the Challenge's theme is "daily routine", the picture with the quote shows what I feel and enjoy doing and how I would like to live my life. I wanted it to be as colorful as my routine should be.
7 dots collections are very complete, I love using them in my projects, especially in layouts.
After making the background with Lindy's Sprays, Carabelle stamps I prepared the picture matting with 7dots papers, then added lots of embellishments which I adore.

hope you'll like it as much as I do:

Magic

Hello dears,
Prima mood board Celebrate July with a new Challenge is so bright and beautiful
I felt I had to create something with it right away.

July_MIP

I knew I had to use this picture I found weeks ago and add all types of Glitter and the Sparks Acrylic Paints by Finnabair to my page.
First, I sprayed red mist, then Gold embossed using 2 gorgeous Prima's stamps and started to build the composition. I've painted cheese cloth with 3 of Finnabair's Sparks Acrylic Paints, chosen a few Chipboard die cuts, one of Prima's Doilies die cut and more and assembled them together with lots of Prima's flowers.
When satisfied with what I've made I finally glued everything together.
So now the fun time - adding all sweets: Glitter, Glass glitter, Say it in Crystals, splashes, a few more stamping and a Word to describe the LO.

Had very much fun creating this LO, hope you all like it:
