Steampunk fishes for Art Recipe - Finnabair

Hello crafty friends!

This Month for Art Recipe Challenge we have a gorgeous & subtle Moodboard, it inspired me to Create a set of Steampunk Fishes.

I just love making these small objects. They are featured on top of Acrylic ATCs colored with Liquid Acrylic paints. The set is created with resin elements (made out of Finnabair's moulds), mechanicals, chipboards and more. See below the supplies list.

Outside the Box - video tutorial for Finnabair

 Hello crafty friends!

It's Anat Here! I'm here today to share my new project and video Tutorial – an altered Wooden Box Which I named "Outside the Box".

 

I've created a bit different project. It is a bright-grungy Box, you might be wondering how come it is bright and Grungy at the same time, well that's how I see it LOL

Again I'm playing with Rust effects, this time I achieved it by using only Liquid Acrylic paints. No Rust paste was used here. For lots of texture I added Joint Tape, which I adore, White Crackle Paste and the fabulous Crushed Ice Effect paste. 

Watching the video you will notice that after playing with the paints the look on the lid isn't that nice, but right after the next step all embellishments and details came to life. So if it happens to you, don't feel discouraged, you are in the right path!

Just smile - Mixed Media canvas for Dusty Attic

 Hello crafty friends!

Anat here sharing with you my new Canvas using gorgeous Chippboards.

Playing with textures is definitely my thing! I love experimenting new techniques, inventing and testing them. Peeled paint is one of those! That is what I have created in the Canvas background, I loved it so much and decided to go with almost monochromatic project based on muted Pink pastel.

The chipboard were painted in different shades of pink and later gold flakes were added to them. you will be able to see all details in the close-ups photos I added below.

The chipboiard I've used are:

Never forgotten - Rusty Art Journal spread for Art Daily Cafe

  Hello crafty friends! 

I'm excited to share my Rusty Art Journal Spread.

It is no secret I adore textures! I love creating and playing with Rust, patina and peeled paint in the background, or on elements.

We all have many things forgotten in our stash, right ?! So let's shake off the dust, put them on the crafting table and start using them! 

7 Dots Studio paper is an enormous love of mine! I never forget about them and always look at them, but it has been such a long time since I had created something with them. The time arrived to combine my absolute 2 loves! 

I had so much fun creating the spread, I'm also very satisfied with  what I came up with and hope you share with me this feeling.
