Sisters Canvas for Dusty Attic - Moodboard inspired

 Hello crafty friends!

It's Anat here, back  with my Moodboard inspired project.

The amazing colors and Image of the Moodboard Inspired me to Mixed media Canvas.

You probably already noticed I love texture, so to create this textury background I have spread both Paper paste and Sand Paste both by Finnabair. I mixed Victorian Green Impasto paint with a bit of Texture Powder and Brushed it,  from the middle up and down.

I have used some of my favorites chippies , which were painted with Metalique and Impasto paints than Rubbed with metallic waxes.

dream Journal Spread for Art Daily Cafe

 Hello crafty friends!

 It's Anat here with my new Art Journal spread inspired by the fabulous Art Daily Moodboard.

Let me tell you a secret - Pink (specially the vintage shades) was, for years, my favorite color! Yes I know lots of people will  be surprised due to my enormous love to Steampunk... and that's why this Moodboard captured my heart immensely.

Sgrafito, though, is a new  style for me! I wasn't familiar with it and I tried my best to feature it in my spread together with Botanical elements which I love so much. I love to get to know new things! Don't you? Looking forward to seeing you joining us with your fantastic projects!

Altering a Metal suitcase - video tutorial for Finnabair

 Hello crafty friends!

It's Anat Here! I'm back today to share my new project and video Tutorial – an altered Metal Suitcase.

We often alter Wooden, Plastic and other material objects to make them look like Metal. In this project I'm transforming the Metal Suitcase into an antique aged piece with all effects which we can find on Metal aged object.

Most of Impasto paints, which I absolutely love, are perfect for giving any piece a Vintage aged look. Together with Rust pastes, Graphite Paste and other product make my work on a project easier. The outcome is exactly what I wanted to achieve.
