Romantic Shadow Box video for Finnabair

 Hello Crafty Friends!

It's Anat here today with a new Video tutorial showing how I made this  Romantic Shadow Box using fabulous Finnabair products.

I wanted my Shadow Box to have  a peeled Vintage look, for that I covered it all with Black Gesso and than added 2 types of texture pastes - White Crackle and Graphite. When dry I colored it with a mix of Burnt Sienna and Magenta Acrylic Paints together wit Mica Powder.

For the Feminine touch I used the Rossibelle collection from Prima Marketing together with cotton vintage laces.

Many Mechanicals, mould prints and wooden icons where added to embelish the Box.

Doors panels - October Art Recipe

 Hello crafty friends!

The October Moodboard is amazing! Definitely my favourite combination!

I had a few ideas inspired by the Mood-board and I've chosen the one I knew would give me much joy - a couple of  long  door panels.

I wanted to achieve both bold and soft effects in each of the doors, to get it I've painted both doors frames with the Dark Green, simulated wood and metal and used flowers together with lace embroidery fabrics.

Each one was built a bit different, using in part, distinct techniques and products.
