And into the forest I go - video Tutorial for Finnabair

 Hello crafty friends!

Anat here with a new project and a new video tutorial. This time I have created a Winter project with Finnabair’s metal Frame.

 

The wonderful picture, I have used, is kept with me for a while now, it’s mysterious and strong. Using it inside the Metal frame gave both a bigger dimension. It’s almost like you can step into the frame and walk into the snowy forest. It immediately remind me of the quote: "And into the Forest I go to lose my Mind and find My Soul"

To alter the Frame, I first prepared a base for the image which was placed inside it. Then I added texture, around all frame, with Finnabair-Prima  Black Sand paste and Rust effect pastes.

All Rust Effect paste sets are so awesome and versatile, you can mixed and apply them on different surfaces.

For the embellishments I prepared beautiful pieces with resin and Finnabair-Prima moulds, added different Finnabair-Prima mechanicals and a leafy chipboard frame. On the leafy chipboard I added the amazing Finnabair-Prima Golden Nugget effect paste.

Seasonal Mixed Media Card - Dusty Attic's Moodboard

Hello crafty friends!

Anat here today with a set of Seasonal Mixed Media Card inspired by the beautiful September Moodboard, using gorgeous new chippies.

The subtle Mood board inspired me to make this 2 Mixed Media cards.

Both Card's background was made with Embossing Folder and rubed with Vintage Gold Metalique Wax.

The amazing chipboards were subtly colored with white gesso mixed with mica powder both by Finnabair.
To create the composition I grabbed different pieces of vintage laces and cotton doily together with vintage papers.

Art Journaling with Shakers for Lindy's stamp gang

Hey Gang!

It’s Anat here with a fun Video tutorial creating an Art Journal Spread. To create the spread I've used 2 shakers, 1 magical and 2 sprays .

So let's start...

Basic Process

• Glue 2 pages together from each side
• Prime the pages with Clear Gesso
• Add texture with modeling paste and stencil
• When the paste is already dry, add color with: Guten Tag Teal, Lederhosen Laurel Shakers
• Add a bit of Jana's Jade Magical
• To accentuate the gears add Blazzing Black Spray
• For highlighting the texture add a layer of Dry Brush White Heavy Gesso
• Color some paper die-cuts with Cowabunga Copper Spray. Add on top Show Stopper Copper Magical.
• Add stamping using Black Archival Ink
• Distress the embellishment using vintage photo ink
• Time to glue the embellishment to the spread
• Add white splashes
• Off the camera I added Micro beads and self adhesive jewels
