You will see that  moodboard colors are bold and bright so I took it to the "extreme" and use those colors almost without any other colors.

Beauty Restless hamssa - Craft O'clock - Mixed Media

I'm so excited to share, today, my first project as Craft O'clock -Mixed Media designer.

I enjoyed very much creating the video tutorial of this Hamssa, using an amazing collection - Beauty Restless By Karolina Bukowska.

My project is based mainly on paper! You will see that having a Fabulous collection like this one, you don't need much to make a Beautiful project.

Change of Seasons - art Journal for Art Daily Cafe

Anat here sharing my new Art Journal, Spread inspired by September Mood Board. The gorgeous Moodboard  reminded me the legend of  Persephone - If you don't know it read below.

Our August theme is changes of the season.
August Art Daily Color is Olive Green.

The Persephone fable was what came to my mind when I first looked at the Moodboard, it is so wonderful like everything in the Greek Mythology! 

Here is a short summary of Persephone's story:

"In ancient Greece mythologies, the myth of the Abduction of Persephone by Hades explained the seasons. To the ancient Greeks, spring and summer signified the six months when Persephone returned from the Underworld, and her mother Demeter made the earth bloom and grow bountiful after her absence. When Persephone left the company of the gods and returned to the Underworld, Demeter’s loss was expressed in the barrenness of autumn and winter."

To get this amazing bold colors I used 3 of Finnabair's Liquid Acrylic Paints: Avocado Green, Tiger Orange and Burnt Sienna.

Habby notes Journal for Dusty Attic

Hello crafty friends!

Anat here! today I would like to share my new project - an altered Journal.

I decided to go for a Vintage Botanical look for the cover, I covered it with fabric and lace, primed it and coffee stained it.

I've grabbed  gorgeous chippies, most of them from July release, colored them with Lindy's Sprays.
